Xander had his daily TV fix (Curious George and Sid the Science Kid) taken away on Tuesday, thanks to some bad choices on Monday. This prompted him to go exploring until he found the still-packed (and as yet unused) stomp rockets he got for his birthday (he got two: thanks again Annie, Neve and Jack!).

See that reaction right there? Also known as: HUGE HIT. The vaulted ceiling in the front room meant he was able to get some impressive air.

He moved outside with them when the grade school bus dropped off the neighbor kids and everyone took turns having a blast.

Clare watched his every move, very seriously.

Then she spied me watching her.

Another week, another visit to the Children's Museum. Xander loves this toy piano in the gift shop.

Straight to the water table this time. We visit the museum so often they don't even ask for my membership card anymore; they just see us walk in and say "Hello again!"

This is what Clare does while X explores the museum. Not sure how we'll continue these frequent visits once Clare is mobile and wants to toddle around the toddler area (which is too boring for Big Boy Xander).

A morning nap at the museum was my goal for Clare, but she did not go down easily. Finally: success.
