Clare's adorable shirt was a Christmas gift from Grandpa and Grandma Harger.

Four-year-olds are so weird. This "costume" of Xander's had him laughing all afternoon. (That's a basketball hoop he's wearing as a hat.)

Later he added this old baby blanket to the outfit and asked me to take more photos.

We're just starting to introduce the sippy cup to Clare. She totally doesn't get it, but is happy to chew on anything.

Sweet little Clare (did Xander ever sit still?) wearing her amber teething necklace.

Wearing Henry's old Beatles t-shirt that we gave him when he was born.

Whenever we dig out old toys for Clare from Xander's babyhood, he instantly gloms onto them again. This snail, a 1st-birthday gift from Susan and Chris, is a new favorite.

This cute shirt was also a gift from Grandpa and Grandma Harger.

We visited Michael's cousin Laurence and his family today in Tacoma. Xander had so much fun with Jack and Max.

I just can't believe he's so grown up already. Wasn't it just yesterday that we had to keep an eye on him every second of every day? Today he ran around with his new best friend, 6-year-old Max -- up and down the stairs, playing with the guinea pigs, making imaginary bubblegum in the pretend candy factory he and Max thought up, playing with all of Max's toys; we barely saw him.
