Xander and Clare

We finally had a gorgeous day yesterday!


Xander wanted me to take his picture while he ran in the front yard.




These were taken right after he told me, very excitedly: "Mommy, I can run two miles!!"


Clare hung out on the front stoop and watched Xander run and run and run.




Xander got a haircut today. Sitting in the waiting area with Clare, eavesdropping on his conversation with the stylist, was hysterical. She got an earful about our garbage cans, which day recycling goes out, how the neighbor kids get home from school at 3:30, how Daddy drives the old car to work, and on and on. His shyness with strangers seems to be melting away.


This game involved Xander piling diapers up on Clare's back and Clare wondering why I let her endure such treatment.




Out of the blue she started sitting like this today.
