Xander and Clare

Xander and Henry build a "bear cave."

Much fun ensues.

Look out, Mom! Bears!

I swear, someday I'll stop taking this exact same photo every time Kate, Jessica, and Henry come to visit.

Jessica always brings fun new things for Clare to try. Udon noodles!

What.

One of our regular deer visitors ventures really close.

I scared it off when I took its picture, so Xander grabbed a chair and set up camp, waiting for the deer to return.

And it did!

I put a stop to this potentially dangerous climbing nonsense -- right after I snapped a picture.
