Easter fun

Xander was up at his usual early hour. He got to look at his Easter basket, but waited patiently for Clare to wake up at 8am before they collected the eggs hidden around the house.


Clare found some in her room when she woke up.


Xander showed her how to collect them, and she was off.






Xander filled his basket, and then moved on to a larger receptacle.




After the eggs were all collected, Xander got Clare's basket and brought it to her, singing "Happy Easter to you" to the tune of "Happy Birthday."


Ooooo!


She liked the toy microphone best.


Then we went to Andrea and Karin's place, to join their son and three nephews for brunch, followed by an outdoor egg hunt.


Baby chicks!


Clare, being the littlest, got to start first.


The boys waited patiently.

Xander got distracted by Jack's cool play equipment, but he did manage to grab a few eggs.
