Xander is 6!

He woke up this morning and found his new guitar and microphone stand.


Then he waited patiently for Clare to wake up and for all of us to eat
the yummy breakfast Michael made especially for Xander's birthday.


Then he got to get on the computer with Grandma Mary, Aunt Rachele,
and Cousin Troy to open more gifts. (And show them his new guitar and mic.)

Later Xander opened the rest of his gifts.


He was very, very excited to get the same house Mrs. Swett has
in his kindergarten classroom.




The tambourine from Grandpa and Grandma Harger was also a big hit.


Thinking of all the concerts he's going to put on.


A new Busytown book, from Kate, Jeff, Annie & Neve.


He immediately put his new magnatiles from Grandma Mary to use
with his new (old) house. And that's one of the new Playmobil people
from Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Liz peeking up over the rooftop.
I predict many future arguments between Xander and Clare, as he
just wants to use the house to build fences and backyards around,
and Clare wants to open it and play with it like a dollhouse.
