Xander and Clare

Waiting for Santa.

Clare was SO excited this year!!

When Xander (inexplicably) told Clare that she couldn't
hold that handle in the car, she made sure she did so the entire
way to the Rydholm's house.

So (inadvertently, I'm sure) rude!

Our friends Chris and Amy sent Xander a care package with gift certificates
to some of his favorite places in Bellingham. They also included a note
from his new teacher (Amy is a teacher at the same school X will attend)!

A group of Michael's Evergreen colleagues threw a lovely goodbye
brunch for us on Sunday.

(It was day two of pajama day and the second day in a row for her cupcake
PJs because they're all she has that fit!)

Xander's last day of school had a two-hour delay because of...snow!

It was a super-fun snowball-filled way to enjoy his last time waiting
at the bus stop.

I followed the bus to school (per X's request) so I could deliver
"goodbye" donuts from X to his classmates.

Saying the pledge with two of his favorite classmates,
Kaloyon and Sujith.

He got to choose two helpers to help him pass out donuts: Kael
and (his girlfriend!) Addison. :)

I also brought in favorite baseball bat for his last show and tell.
