Watching the Felix Perfect Game DVD that Santa brought them.

Watching our neighbor Drew play basketball.

Shooting baskets with Rhonda after the game.

Our last meal out in Oly at the kids' favorite pizza place.

Checking out the small moving truck with our neighbors.

Last night on Lady Fern Loop.

Just before we headed out to the car.
And the very last photo I snapped at the old place.
Making themselves right at home in the family room of our rental house.
With Michael back in Olympia to meet the movers the next day,
I let the kids sleep in X's room for the first night, to calm any nervousness.
We hit the Bagelry first thing Sunday morning, of course!

We also hung out with the Shaughnessys.
We then headed back to the house to watch the movers unload the big truck.
The kids were fascinated.
The new backyard meets X's approval for pretend baseball games.

Our friend Amy gave Xander a full tour of his new school
the day before winter break ended
(where she's a 3rd grade teacher).

Running into his old friend Jack on the playground
before his first day at Happy Valley.
Nervously heading into Mrs. Webb's class.
Clare and I ran errands (including clowning around outside
Trader Joe's) while X was in school.

We went out for donuts after school.
The gorgeous view of Bellingham Bay from our kitchen window.

The next day it was Clare's turn to try out her new preschool.

It has a zip line outside!
(She loved it.)
Playing with the pizza dough La Fiamma brings out
for kids.
Goofing around with Cashel  (and imitating 1990s-era Edgar Martinez)

Waiting patiently for her new favorite pizza.
Autographing a baseball for me.

We headed down to Boulevard for a walk before going over to
Taya and Tony's last Saturday afternoon.

Having a blast with Anya.
We watched the Seahawks beat the Redskins at the Rosellis.
Heading to Clare's first official day at Loving Space Preschool.
She didn't want me to leave, but when I eventually said goodbye
there were no tears. Success!
