First rule of Loving Space Preschool: Wash your hands when you arrive.
Not a rule, but maybe should be: Wear the light-up
Rudolph Nose that Grammy Eve sent you at Christmas
as a miner's lamp while you do so.
Clare and I dropped X off at school one morning last week,
and then headed down to the water to get coffee/hot cocoa and walk
around a bit.
We also goofed around at the play structure they have there.

A train!
"Reading" her "newspaper" in her room.
We all hit Fairhaven Park last Saturday to take in the sun.
The boys shot hoops while the girls swung on the swings.
We had dinner at the Winters' place that night.
Xander was greeted by his face sign.
(The Winters are big fans.)
Clare spends every visit at Anya's playing with her
Playmobil safari set.
The littles eat dinner before the bigs.
We then all headed downstairs (to Michael's digs
when he lived there last fall and commuted back and forth)
to watch the WWU Vikings men's basketball game.

Kid takes his Celtics very seriously.
All of us picking Clare up from preschool one evening this week.
Playing a fun game with giant dice, counting, marching, and general craziness.
Another day at preschool pickup: using (and eating) raisins to learn about math.
Xander is looking so grown-up these days.
Looking at pictures on Michael's phones while we wait for Boomer's takeout.
Just as Norman Rockwell always captured it:
Family time shared around the iPad.
This is posted on the 2nd grade "quality writing" board at X's school.
Can't wait to read the back side! :)
An old shot from Michael's phone of Xander the night he was a ball boy at Western
