A mish-mash of photos from pre- and post-spring training trip

X heading off (on his own!) through the WWU campus
to meet up with Michael and Roselli to watch NCAA Division II
tournament games.
They made the big screen -- and the newspaper's website.
Between games they headed back to Michael's office
and Xander wrote up a worksheet for the Western players' stats.
Popcorn and basketball with Lexi and Alyssa.
Teacher Iris reading to Clare and her preschool friends.
The great thing about a sassy attitude...
...is that eventually...
...it passes!
Amusing ourselves while we wait for Xander to get out of school.

Very special shoes for the spring training trip.
I found this contract while cleaning Xander's room. Looks like
we don't need to worry about saving for retirement anymore!
At least someone has fun when we hunt for houses.

Saying goodbye at preschool drop-off on the afternoon
Xander and Michael left for their trip.
Spring is here!

Listening to Olympia artist/author Nikki McClure read at Village Books.
Followed by ice cream at the Calophon.
All dressed up for Emerson's birthday party (magic wand and
pirate eye patch required, according to Clare).

So happy to be back at the Railway Museum.
Grammy Eve and Grandpa Bill sent Easter bags and Clare
wore this bunny mask everywhere we went for three days.
Playing on the patio with the bubbles they sent.
Xander's friend Jade sent him some baseball cards.
Making his bracket selections for the Sweet 16.

I can't imagine where she gets it...

UPS delivered his baseball bat from Casper Wells on Thursday.
Watching the Syracuse game.
Friday afternoon was perfect weather to head to the park at Lake Padden.
X played basketball...
...and Clare pretended to be his coach.

After months of sleeping in her bed, she's back to the floor.

Her pretend angry face.
A cute swing in the back yard of a house we went back to look
at a second time. If only we could move it to the area of town
we'd prefer to live in!
Grandma Mary, Aunt Rachele, and Cousin Troy sent a box of fun Easter stuff.
Clare immediately ate the ring sucker.
Cleaning his bike, readying for spring.

Exploring our backyard.
