Xander is 9!

Xander's birthday loot. He was SO impressed with the Boston Red Sox
wrapping paper on Aunt Rachele and Cousin Troy's present
(and loved the East Division Champions tshirt inside, too!)

Opening a couple presents first thing this morning. Clare got X flip-up baseball sunglasses,
which he's wanted for YEARS. (He started making his own with
lens-less sunglasses, tape, and paper when he was 4.)

"You're the best sister ever!"

Opening all the rest of his presents after school.
"So handsome! It's a so handsome watch!" from
Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Liz.

New Boston Red Sox hat from Grandma Mary.

Wooden baseball game from Grammy Eve and Grandpa Bill.

Xander requested Michael's brownies for birthday dessert
and Michael let them have some before dinner with promises of more later...

Xander's pick for dinner: cheese pizza.

Anticipation...

Watching Michael very carefully to make sure they both
get big enough pieces.

Chocolate sauce directly on his birthday brownie??
It must be his birthday!
