Proudly wearing his Boston Red Sox 2014 World Series Champions t-shirt.
I snapped this photo before taking the kids to the bus stop,
and then leaving for a three-day adventure in Seattle and Portland.
Was a touch windy outside.
Nature walks with Xander also include football.
Checking out Big Rock Garden for the first time.
Pretending to be Seattle Seahawk Richard Sherman
celebrating in the endzone.
Nerf weaponry.
This is the face of one very excited boy who was allowed to play
hooky and go to an indoor waterpark on a school day.
Our first stop: Burger Claim in Grand Mound, Washington.

I was sure their moods would stay this sweet and happy
the entire time we were away.
Watching for Kate, Jessica, and Henry to arrive.

Their first glimpse at the water slides from our room.

The kids in their awesome bunk room.
Michael had to work in Tacoma all day and may have been a touch
overdressed for the Great Wolf Lodge arcade on a Friday night.

Clare had no fear and ran all over the park trying everything
without ever looking to see where the rest of us were.
Totally in her element.
Xander and Kate played water basketball for two solid hours
before we headed out before lunch on Saturday.

Replenishing.
These kids had so much fun and were completely wiped out.
I'm sure we'll be back!
