Xander and Clare

Clare was so excited to bring the froggy bag home for all of
spring break. Inside: this gigantic stuffed frog, a gaggle of fun frog
books, and a journal for Clare to record what she did with
Froggy while he was visiting our house.

Well, nothing else is ready (or even planned),
but the birthday invitations are done!

Love all these photos Michael took of Clare at Xander's
baseball practice (right after her soccer practice)...

The guys drove down to Tacoma for the Rainiers home opener,
but the game was called for rain 10 minutes before the first pitch.

Xander got to leave school early on Tuesday so he and Michael
could go to their fifth annual Mariners home opener.
It was a great game and Xander got to yell hello to many of the players
from the stands as they waited to run out from the tunnel during the
opening ceremony. X got a thumbs up and a hello back
from many of them -- including Russell Wilson, who was there
to throw out the first pitch!

Tradition.

The White Sox kill a little time before baseball team photos.

Xander played his first ever kid-pitch game yesterday and did so great!
He even got to pitch for the first time. Two strikeouts
and a ground out; three up, three down. That's our boy!

Our Olympia friends the Rydholms came to stay for the weekend.
Loved seeing all these kids together again.
