| We had decdided NOT to buy quackers for the kids while we did the land/water city tour...but then our neighbor kindly gave Xander an extra one, but none for Clare. You can imagine how well that went over. :) |

| We said our goodbyes in Westlake Center and the boys headed back to Columbia City, while Clare and I continued our downtown adventure. |

| They stopped for lunch at Rookie's, Xander's favorite Seattle restaurant, obviously, since it's lined with tvs showing all kinds of sports. |

| Clare and I walked through the market again and stopped to watch this guy. She loved it. |

| And then we walked down to the main event: The Great Wheel! |

| We stopped at Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe on the walk back to the light rail station. Weird place. |

| And as we were walking back from the light rail to the house, we ran into the boys headed back to the light rail station. They were off to meet up with our old Oly neighbors to watch the Mariners game. |

| The night ended with a fantastic fireworks show -- I could even hear it from the house! |
