Xander and Clare

Clare has been waiting for eons, but she finally gets to have
Xander's old loft bed.

She couldn't be happier.

And Xander has also been anxiously awaiting the chance to turn his
bedroom into a "hotel room," just like a professional athlete stays in.

Sadly, the next day, the flu hit Clare pretty hard.

Several days of being sick and sad followed.

Yeah, I think he likes the hat he got from Grandpa and Grandma Harger. :)

With Clare down for the count and camped out in front of the TV,
X devoted his time to building a store in the basement.

He charged money for folks to pose for photos with him.

When Clare was finally well again, she invited her favorite classmate,
Klayton, over for a playdate.

Clare lost another top tooth on New Year's Day, with no sign
of the others yet, so Gummy got to have just a shake for lunch.

Got to see the Rosellis on New Year's Day, when X and I went and watched
all the crazy people jump in Lake Whatcom at Chris and Susan's annual party.

He's doing an amazing job of keeping his hotel room tidy.

The boys headed to Portland for a Trailblazers game,
so Clare and I made brownies like Grammy Eve made
the last time she was here -- Clare's been asking to do this for ages.
