Finally! Sorry, Mom! :)

I think the last time we were all four at Costco together,
both kids could still ride in the cart.
SO excited for Soheil's Nerf-themed birthday party.
She arrived with Nerf bow and arrow at the ready!
Lifelong friends.
We took Henry, Kate & Jessica to the North Lake Whatcom Trail
for the first time. Weather was perfect. Such a fun adventure.
We found a waterfall off the trail and Clare led us right to the bottom of it.
Throwing rocks into Lake Whatcom.
We only hiked in 1.5 miles, and then made the return trip.
We'll go farther next time they visit.
Happiness is waking up and immediately playing a card game with Jessica & Hens.
Xander really, really wanted a crisp new dress shirt and bow tie
for his class photo. We went shopping.
An amazing sunset taken from our back porch.
All ready for their class photos!
I unearthed this preschool project and had too much fun teasing Xander
for omitting Mom and Dad. (Clare was pleased to see
she had made the cut -- I mean, that was some stiff competition, what
with America's Test Kitchen. And dogs. And rice [which he has never once eaten.])
We tried a new (to us) hole-in-the-wall burger joint up in Ferndale
called Good Burger. It definitely lived up to the name. So good!
Headed to Birch Bay State Park for a gorgeous (if chilly)
walk along the beach.
Xander practicing his box jumps.
Always making art. Always.
Bedtime reading.
Basketball practice at Kulshan Middle School.
It's been such a fun season, I'm sad it's almost over.
"Clare's private area."
Why yes, they do show cartoons at TCBY. How could you tell?
I never remember to put us on the blog. Here we are at the 2nd Annual
West Coast Meat Loaf Bake-Off, at our friends Taya & Tony's house.
Xander with the reigning queen, Sara. She let him try on her crown.
Clare met Jack at last year's bake-off and was SO excited
to get to play with him and his twin brother Ewan again.
Reader.
After an exciting win.
Having fun at the dentist -- no, really!
A gift from Clare's classmate and favorite neighborhood buddy, Klayton.
Xander and Dawson before their game last night.
Baseball season has begun! (Spring Training counts. Go Mariners!)
