Spring Break 2015 -- Day Five

Headed to what would become our most-returned-to restaurant during our stay in the OB: Shades Oceanfront Bistro.

We decided to ditch any itinerary and just play at Mission Beach.

Clare decided she wanted to zipline above Belmont Park. Getting all geared up.

We headed back to the OB and grabbed burgers to go from Hodad's. It was so fun inside, but too crowded. The line was always out the door and down the block to get inside!

Michael and Xander headed downtown to Petco Park to watch the San Diego Padres play the San Francisco Giants. Here, he's standing in front of Tony Gwynn's statue.

Whenever Padres closer Craig Kimbrel gets a save, flames shoot out of the scoreboard.

Clare asked me to type this: "I am in front of a real cactus."

"I have a new toy in my hand right now and it pops its tongue out."

Clare and I hung out on Newport Avenue in the OB while the boys watched baseball.

We headed down to the beach to play for awhile.
