Xander was beyond pleased to have come in second place with his March Madness bracket with Michael and a group of his friends.
Xander was so excited to be having a couple of friends/teammates over during Spring Break that he actually cleaned out from under his bed and dresser. This is as clean as his room has ever been, and that's saying a lot for this neatnik.
My sweet Clare wanted to go to the mall to get shorts for the hot weather we've been having. We had a little lunch date at Chipotle.
Spring Break library stop, to load up on fun new books.
Lunch with Cade and Nick in the middle of their long day of hanging out. X was happy to include his little sister.
After a long day of basketball, watching sports on TV, and then playing sports on the Wii, I took the crew to TCBY.
Clare had her best buddy Klayton over all day Friday, alternating between playing Lego and Minecraft. Since 10 hours together apparently wasn't enough, she was invited to spend much of Sunday at his house, as well. :)
Michael and Xander headed down for their seventh straight Mariners Opening Day.
Spotted somewhere downtown on their way to meet Patrice at her water taxi.
Hanging with Patrice before the game is a tradition!
As is pretending to catch a fly ball at the wall in the Hall of Fame section of Safeco.
We headed just south of Bellingham on Saturday to soak up some sunshine at Larrabee State Park.
Beachcombers.
Rock-thrower.
Checking out the lights Michael hung above our little patio in the lower part of the back yard.
Sunday found us driving out toward the mountain, and then hiking along the Nooksack River in the Mount Baker National Forest.
