Clare helping me make peanut butter balls for all the neighbors.

Michael's teaching us all how to play poker.

Opening Grammy Eve's pre-Christmas goodies.

Thank you, Grammy Eve!

Both kids did some basketball camps this week. Clare was the tallest of all the boys and girls in her group.

Adorable (and yummy!) cookies from local cookie decorator who doe the most amazing designs.

Sneaking out on Christmas Eve day so Xander could get Michael a Starbucks gift card.

Christmas Eve afternoon/evening at one of our favorite places on earth: the Winter family's house!

Emily is home for the holidays! (And showing Xander some of the footage she shot on the field of Russell Wilson, when she recently worked Monday Night Football.)

My kids refused to play around with the Snapchat filters, but Em, Anya and Taya were game!

No Snapchat filter for Michael, either.

Clare was creative in her gift giving this year. She gave me some of her Calvin & Hobbies comic books (which were originally mine -- ha!). Xander gave me some of his oldest baseball cards, for people he knew I would appreciate.

It's getting harder to stay up later than the kids so I can stuff the stockings...
