Pretending to be Michael. :)

Closing down on another great volleyball season.

Our kids both had other plans, but Michael and I went to the neighbors' for a fun get together and Michael texted Xander a photo of him holding Ian. (Xander loves Ian.)

Checking out the new waterfront area.

Serving in the championship game!

When your daughters' teams are battling against each other in the championship.

Sugar & Spike: Champions!

Jayda goes to a different middle school, so it's always a treat when these two get to see each other.

Making pizzas at Kate, Jessica and Henry's.

We hadn't seen them in WAY too long. Everyone's getting so tall!

A little WWU volleyball viewing party at the Winters.

Halloween costume shopping with Clare is never for the faint of heart.

She had to have it.

Xander and I spent a recent Saturday morning volunteering for Make a Difference Day, planting native trees and shrubs along Padden Creek.

Finally ready for his first taste of coffee...

...he's not a fan.

All dressed up for "Meme Day" at school -- she's Monica from Friends with the turkey on her head.

The Halloween costume she decided on. We found the old wig at the last minute, which made it even creepier!

Dropping Clare off for an afternoon of birthday/Halloween party fun at Jasper's.

Photos from Jasper's parents of the kids getting ready to go trick-or-treating.

Meanwhile, the boys were in Seattle, watching WWU get trounced by UW. Apparently they were on the video screen with the Husky mascot.

First photo snapped with my new phone. She wakes up and her hair just naturally looks this cool.
