Clare and I have been wanting to visit the Funko headquarters in Everett for a couple of years. Totally fun.

And of course she had to make a few purchases.

Football parties with friends are our favorite.

And Emily was in town for this one! She recently started working for ESPN on the east coast and brought Xander some amazing prizes.

Em was his first babysitter...and maybe some day she'll be his boss at ESPN! 😉

An official backdrop used for NBA broadcasts.

Lunch at Twin Sisters.

X had his own plans for New Year's Eve, so I made him take a selfie with me before dropping him off.
New Year's Eve tradition at the Winters' house!
Xander's having a really good basketball season. Hitting personal bests and just playing strong (usually, ha!).

He hit 8 official three-pointers during this game, but really hit 9 (according to the ref, later), but a windstorm knocked the lights out for a few seconds right after the ball left his hand on one of his shots. It was so funny (but only because we were winning handily).

Sunday morning snuggles.

Clare's sense of humor is...very Clare. 😜

I love that there's always a pile of books next to Clare's bed.

Big rivalry game against Bellingham High School was amazing. We were behind most of the game and struggled, then X hit the go-ahead three with just a few minutes left. SO fun to watch this one turn around.

All smiles after the big win.

Katie Ray and Xander have known each other since they were babies (see next picture, from his second birthday) and now they're working together on a high school history project and presentation.

Our tween.

I love this photo because, no doubt, Michael was teasing Clare about something and she wasn't buying it.

This was a stressful game, at Anacortes. A tight battle all the way, and then Xander had a chance to win it in the final seconds, but missed the shot. He then had a chance to tie it and go into overtime with three free-throws, but missed one for a one-point loss. Still fun to watch them play, even when it doesn't go their way.

The kids got FOUR unexpected days off of school because of snow.

Clare and Braedon did a little snow day sledding.
