Trying out my new iPhone's camera. Clare is still not a fan of being in photos.
We visited Xander at work a couple weekends back.
This is where he and his co-worker Amanda spend all their daytime weekend hours, selling bags to the apple U-pick forlks.
Apple cider donuts!
Learning how to carve a bird.
Xander and Lexi returning from work to join us for our first indoor Seahawks football party since before COVID!
I was in Olympia for a quick work trip and brought back X his favorite raspberry croissants from Batdorf and Bronson. Was lucky to grab the last two they had!
The Mariners season got very exciting at the end. Heartbreaking, as always, but also lots of fun to watch,
With my new phone, I can make it seem like we sit much closer to X at the high school football games that we actually do. Ha!
This one (third to the last game of the season) was the biggest heartbreaker, in my opinion—but glad I got to watch it with X.
Wild Card Saturday. This is normal, right?
X and his buddies getting ready to cheer on the volleyball team.
We took X out to a new pizza joint for the night before his birthday, since he had to work the next day.
Birthday balloons at the ready.
Even Clare got up at 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday to watch X open his gifts.
All he wanted this year was baseball hats!
Big breakfast before work.
The card Clare made for him.
Michael and I swung by work with Wendy's for Xander (and Amanda and Lexi), to make his birthday workday a little special.
And then the pizza of his choice (yes, pizza, again!) was waiting for him after work.
A few from the cul de sac crew came to hang out with X and help celebrate his big day. (They all adore him.)
Playing fliers up with the kids.
This is 17!!
Xander and Dawson dressed up in "western theme" for another volleyball game.
Cathi texted Xander the day after his birthday and told him to stop by. He returned home with freshly baked cookies.
