We went to a local cider mill and pumpkin patch on Sunday afternoon.
(Michael saw this photo a few hours after I posted it and requested credit for this shot. He also wants you to know it was taken upside down. Such talent!)

She would like this one, please.

Obligatory October pumpkin patch pictures.

As I'm typing this and Xander watches over my shoulder, he assures me we could build a bunny hutch in our backyard. I don't think so.

Every farm has electronic toy cars and motorcycles, right? That you drop 25 cents into for a ride?

On the way home we made a special stop for Xander. Last spring, he carefully followed the construction of these welcome signs at the college where Michael works. They're on a roundabout that we drive through every day.

It was a really big deal for Xander to get up close and personal with the signs.

Want to have about 45 heart attacks in less than 10 minutes? Let your kids run free on a roundabout that's constantly being circled by cars and has no fence.

He really, really had a good time out there.

Ready for the rain.

Also ready for Halloween (wearing a t-shirt Grammy Eve sent last Halloween and hand-me-down jeans from Xander).
