This is what I found when I peeked in at Xander long after his bedtime the other night. Apparently George warrants his own bed now.

We went up to Zoolights in Tacoma last night.
It was fantastic (even in the rain).




Xander liked the giant rainbow best (he's standing at the base of it here).


How cool is that tree? (My photos don't do any of the lights justice.)






Xander got to ride the carousel on our way out of the zoo.


Clare did not like seeing Mommy on the carousel (much like she won't let me or Michael swing on swings at parks -- she loses it). There were many tears while X and I rode around and around.


She was perfectly fine a minute later.


Zoolights at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium:
Definitely a new holiday tradition!
(And maybe next year X & C will want to ride the camels.
A mom can dream of the photo op, can't she?)
