They'll always play so well together, won't they?(Please just let me remain naive and hopeful.)
We walked into the kitchen one morning last week
and found Xander working on this.
Clare watching the snow come down last week.
(She was pretty grumpy in general last week. The end of
the Terrible Twos maybe?)
Suddenly hit by a mood swing.
Watching the snowstorm with Mikah.
Xander finally got to break out the sled from Santa. The neighbors built
a little run down their driveway and the kids took turns flying down.
He liked it, can you tell?
Yes, my kid only has rainboots to wear in the snow.
I win at parenting!
Apparently this is his "sledding face" -- identical every time he took off.
He tried to convince Clare to try it. She refused.
Snowball fight with Daddy and the neighbor kids.

Mike took this lovely progression of snow storm photos
from our back door.
Another stadium built by Xander.
Every once in awhile we make popcorn and all line up on the couch to watch
something fun on TV. This week it was the hilarious Shaun the Sheep.
Xander built a computer of his own.
And Clare tried it out the moment we got back from dropping him off at school.

Another wonderful post - I'm so bummed we missed you guys last weekend. Love the snow shots and Xander's sentences on the white board took my breath away. He's learning so much! And he's even developing a perfect D'nealian font! Miss you guys, hope all's well. xoxox Susan
I could only WISH that my kids played that well together. Enjoy it Stacee - I am completely envious. The scene at our house is usually more along the lines of WWE Wrestling - cage matches at that! Your two are absolutely adorable!!
@Susan: I'm so bummed we missed you, too! I have no idea what D'nealian font is, but will trust your teacher's expertise that it's a good thing. ;) It's true, he's really, really into writing right now. And loves adding "monkey tails" to his letters.
@Missy: Oh, I totally jinxed myself with that post yesterday, because later in the day they were basically growling at each other and almost coming to blows over a wooden block. Good times!
