Xander and Clare

Michael and Xander went on a day hike a couple Fridays ago,
so Clare and I went exploring downtown.

Michael and Tim took the boys to a Tacoma Rainers game,
the last of the year for what has been a very long (and fun)
baseball season for Xander. He and M also have tickets
to the last Mariners game of the season. Of course. :)

Xander's favorite eatery in town -- Bagel Brothers -- has
been given a total makeover. Both kids loved sitting in "their"
new booth.

"Arrrgh!"

Word has gotten out about Xander's obsession with all things
Mariners. So when a co-worker of Michael's got two pair
of "Viva Las Vargas" sunglasses at a recent giveaway,
she sent them home with Michael, to give to Xander.

Clare got bangs this week, after a year of fighting over clips
to keep her locks out of her face.

I took Xander out to celebrate his finishing his summer
workbook: 93 pages of lessons to help him stay ready for 1st grade!

We went down to Traditions Cafe to hear Matt play piano on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday we went down to the Farmers Market and, naturally, over to the cranes and the tower.

...and then waited for our friends to come over for a night of yummy food and lots of fun.
