Xander's 8th birthday party at Warehouse Rock Gym

He walked right in and began bouldering while waiting for
all his guests to arrive.

Sitting with Kiri as they listen to the gym rules.

Getting all geared up. Michael belayed for all
the kids during the party.

Henry gets ready to give it a go.

Up he goes!

He made it all the way to the top while his friends cheered him on below.

Coming back down...

Clare initially didn't want to put on a harness
and give it a try, but she changed her mind after seeing Xander do it.

Brave.

She and Mikah then just spent the rest of the part bouldering.
This shot makes me laugh.  Clare liked purposely letting herself
fall onto the soft flooring.

Such a cool kid.

Bouldering with his buddy Alec.

Henry climbed all the way to the top too,
after watching Kate and Jessica race each other up the wall.

X requested an ice cream cake this year.

Listening to everyone sing "Happy Birthday."

Clare got a little overheated. Heh.

This is what eight looks like.
