A glimpe of X as a teen: Hanging out in his room,
checking scores on his iTouch.
Clare looking at books in her room.

Watching an amazing video tour of the International Space Station.
Someone got a haircut! (She had no opinion either way,
but I sort of regretted the bangs right after it was done.)

But I got used to it quickly. She's still adorable. :)

Warming up before Xander's first basketball game of the season.

He has so much fun out there. And he made some amazing shots!

Clare may have lost interest about halfway through the game.
We headed to Seattle right after X's game and had a great night
with Kate and Henry.

The next morning, Clare and I headed to the Bellevue Arts Musuem
so I could see a retrospective of my favorite Olympia artist, Nikki McClure.
Meanwhile, the boys went to Safeco for Mariners Fanfest.
X got to meet Casper Wells right away. He made sure to tell
Casper that he'd see him in Phoenix at spring training.
Xander also got to ask a question during Edgar Martinez's Dugout Dialogue.
You can see video of it here (X isn't shown, but you can hear him loud
and clear at the 11:45 mark).
Look closely and you'll see what Clare's giggling about.
(Hint: It involves fake dog poop.)
Xander's schedule for Tuesday afternoon.
(B.P. = "basketball practice.")
A drawing of Xander's on display outside his classroom.
We've had a couple of really fun playdates with Maya and Zoe.
So great to be back in the same town again and watch them
get to know each other.
Clare loves making these little Lego houses.
Taya and Anya came over one night this week for dinner.
Waiting to warm up before today's game.

We headed to Lake Padden after Xander's game to do some exploring.

Merging nature and sports as Xander goes out for the pass.

Spotted a sasquatch! Run!!
We finished the day at a Western Washington University women's basketball game.
Clare and I stayed for just the women's game, then Michael and
Xander stuck around to watch the amazing men's team. They are
undefeated this season and, after a nail-biter, won the game in OT!
