Only about a gabillion photos, since I keep waiting so long between posts. Sorry, Mom! ;)

A couple outtakes from Clare's preschool class Valentine.
Xander's turn.

And the final products!

Feverish Clare during the Superbowl.
Valentine bags from Grammy Eve and Grandpa Bill!!
Thanks, as always, for sending loads of fun stuff, Mom!
They always have these funny cut-outs for photos outside Trader Joe's.
The kids love them.
Xander and Kiri have become pen pals. It's so sweet.
Xander also texts back and forth with his friends Brandon and Billy (our old neighbors).
We let Xander stay up late one night and he used the time to give me
homework! For the record, I did NOT miss one; the "teacher" doesn't
know the correct answer to 93-69. ;)
At Clare's preschool, everyone rings this big bell by the door when they leave
and everyone inside yells out "Goodbye!"
I can't even remember if this was sunrise or sunset. They're both equally
gorgeous from this house.
Checking scores. Always checking scores.
Playing with the Valentine stamps from Grammy Eve.
Mwah!!
Her preschool is chock full of interesting things -- and it's something
different every day!
Foggy morning.
Pre-basketball game hugs.

Giving Michael a "sneaky kiss" at La Fiamma.
Wants to be like her big brother.

Grandma Mary, Aunt Rachele, and Cousin Troy sent the most
amazing boxes of Valentine chocolates! Thank you so much!
Xander and Clare found that they don't like coconut, just like Dad,
but all the other pieces were big hits. Mom does love coconut, so everybody wins!
Making a Valentine for Clare while she was at school.

See that look of joy? We took Clare to the Railway Museum.

I'm sure we will be back many, many times.
Gorgeous day for a walk along the bay.

Followed by a bit of baseball in the little hidden lane our house sits on.

Xander got to join one of his basketball teammates to be
ballkids at the WWU Vikings men's basketball game.
(This photo was posted on the team's Facebook page.)
He was SO excited! He also came home with a
poster autographed by all the players.
At an indoor soccer birthday party for his friend Russell.
Clare spent hours playing with Anya's Playmobil safari set.
(I suspect I know what she's getting for her birthday.)
Tony teaching Xander a hand slap goodbye at the end of the night.
Xander read for an hour after Clare went to bed. Go, X!
Riding his bike up and down our lane.

Riding her bike on Xander's school playground while we wait
for him to finish up his after-school Spanish class.
Shooting baskets at our neighborhood park.
Clare (in half of her dinosaur costume) giggling with Daddy.
We've been watching a lot of old Mister Roger's episodes
lately (love!!). Clare made a trolley to play make believe with
on our windowsills.
