Posing in front of the baseball locker room he carefully created.
Last day of basketball camp.

We spent an idyllic evening in Brian and Lynnelle's enormous,
lovely back yard. This is what summer is all about.
Xander and Luna played a bit of baseball with Brian.
Hugging Gracie goodbye.
Putting on a magic show (which involved me having to
close and open my eyes on demand many, many times).
Xander meeting Cedar while we waited for Amber to play on the
Fairhaven Green Saturday night.

Hey! There's Amber!
We drove down the road to Maritime Park
after Amber's show, to watch the sunset.

He was impressed.

Watering the carrots she and Michael planted recently.
Like mother, like daughter -- snapping photos of
everything growing in our back yard.
Including the grapes! (SO MANY grapes. I hope they'll be edible!)
Waiting for the first pitch at last night's Bellingham Bells game.

We met up on the lawn with lots of friends, new and old.
Bellingham Bells games are becoming quite the hot spot
on Two-Dollar-Tuesday nights.
Xander and his spring baseball teammate Ben.
Waiting in line to run across the field after the fourth inning.
I love that you can see Clare in her cape, and Xander
holding Alyssa's little hand to help her across.
It was a gorgeous night for baseball.
Popcorn tosser.
Clare made tons of new friends -- and spent much of the game
far away from us, sitting up on this wall.

Goofing around outside Trader Joe's.
