Xander and Clare

Clare missed a couple days of school with a little stomach bug.

Xander made a sign to cheer on his teacher, Mr. Z.,
when we went to go see his soccer team play a match.

Clare's bug hung on too long, so we took her into her doctor
on a Sunday afternoon. They feared it might be appendicitis,
so we ended up in the ER.

An ultrasound showed that all was fine, thankfully. Clare got a couple
popsicles out of the deal.

Clare discovered her first loose tooth last Saturday morning.

She worked and worked on it all day, and by evening it was out!

Clare and I left in the fourth quarter so we could meet up with
Santa and our local firefighters for a Toys for Tots food drive
in our neighborhood. Clare decided she was NOT going to
sit on Santa's lap. In fact, she wouldn't even make eye contact
with him, so this one (pretty awful) shot was the best I could get.

But I posed with him, because I like getting
Christmas presents. ;)
