We had the Winters over to watch the Seahawks game
last Sunday. These kids have such a blast together.

Clare has a weekly playdate with her preschool buddy
Emerson. This week was at our house and involved
doing lots and lots of puzzles.

Artwork on display at school.

So excited to bust into the bags of Christmas goodies
sent by Grammy Eve.
She knows what they love!
(Chocolate. Lots of chocolate.)

Clare loved her Christmas crown and sunglasses from Grammy
so much that she insisted she wear them to the Winters'.

Probably asking Taya to check some sort of sports thing online.

We were back at the Winters on Saturday afternoon.
Clare loves each and every one of Anya's stuffed animals.
We headed down to festive Fairhaven to celebrate the season together.
First stop: Santa. Clare wouldn't come within 10 feet of him.

Taya and I loved Mrs. Claus. When Taya asked for a photo
with her, Mrs. C said, "Move over, Santa! It's my turn!"
Excited to catch the very last horse wagon ride of the weekend.

Running around the village green.

Standing in line to meet the Grinch.

Donuts!
Taya and I have found the fountain of youth and it's the
rocket camera at Rocket Donuts. It somehow makes
us look years younger, with fuller eyelashes, and a rosy glow.

Me and Taya. I still pinch myself sometimes,
so grateful to be back in Bellingham.

Clare's Santa costume. She came down wearing a teddy bear's
Santa coat. It was a bit snug.
Xander's basketball court and scoreboard in the playroom.
