The school day starts!
Believe it or not, this is actually the clean version.

Clare and Michael had a Daddy/Daughter day in Seattle.
They went to go see a play and Clare liked the set so much
that she asked Michael to text me a photo of it before the show.
Halloween goodies arrive from Grandma Mary and Aunt Rachele!
And the more spooky fun things from Grammy Eve and Grandpa Bill!
Hanging with her best pal Mac at the school harvest festival.
Attending to her cat, Mac, at Anya's veterinarian birthday party.
Making a collar for Mac.
And getting to adopt a new dog to take home after the party.
Wearing my Royals jacket from 1980.
Clare's last soccer game of the season -- and maybe for ever.
She's undecided about signing up again in the spring.
You'll have to imagine the "snap" before the pointing.
Dance moves.
The kids hit the late afternoon downtown trick-or-treating
in preparation for making the round after dark at home.
Costume confusion.
I stayed home to pass out candy, while Michael headed out with
the kids and met up with friends. I took photos of the kids' favorite
friends when they came to our door, so X and C could see their costumes.
I was dying that a 9-year-old chose to dress as Elvis.
Clare photobombing this post-trick-or-treating shot
of X with the Rosellis.
New tradition: End the night on the Sledge's front porch!
Our little artist.
Oh, you know: Wandering around the house in a suit jacket and fake glasses,
music blaring in his headphones, wearing a backpack. As one does.
Counting how many piece of Halloween loot she had left
after a few days.
Clare's first basketball practice at the Boys & Girls Club.
She's SO excited to have classmates Mac and Ben on her team.
Still only eating about six different types of food.
Thankfully, carrots is one of them.
