Recently found this photo from my seventh birthday and loved how much Clare I see there!

Not a great capture, but I love this moment after every game when the team applauds the parents as they walk off the field.
Entertaining herself during our anniversary dinner at Pepper Sisters.
Getting some loot at the Junior Ski to Sea parade.
A couple of his friends ran out of the parade line-up to say hi.
Ready for his first Junior Ski to Sea race!
Warming up for his leg of the relay -- the run.
Looks, it's Jack!
Running hard.
Getting ready to pass off the wristband to his teammate.
After their legs of the relay race, waiting for their final teammate to cross the finish line.
Xander wanted to see Josh all dressed up in his tuxedo for his senior prom. Josh asked X to get dressed up too, so they could pose for a photo together.
Our two-year-old neighbor Corwin comes by pretty regularly, looking for Xander. :)
Michael and X watch the Back 2 Bellingham Alumni vs. Slam game with the Rosellis.
Clare has been loving her "neighborhood nature" after-school program through Wild Whatcom. We had her take us up into the woods behind the school to show us some of the areas they've been exploring.
A shelter built by one of the program counselors.
Clare saw this and said (unknowingly, a la Steve Martin's 'The Jerk'): Someone loves this tree!

Playing catch with our neighbor Sydney (not pictured, Xander and Josh, who also were throwing the ball around).
Finally big enough to carry the Chococat backpack a friend of mine sent her when she was tiny.
Josh's baseball team has had quite an exciting season! They are headed to the State Championship for the first time in school history. They played two do-or-die games last Saturday and won them both, so they'll travel to Yakima this week for the semifinals. Here's X walking Josh to the field before their second game.
With our neighbor Rich.
Celebrating the win down on the field -- any excuse to get into the dugout.
We're sure gonna miss Josh when he leaves for college in August.
X was excited to get his summer travel ball hat -- and his name put on his official team hoodie.
Just watching the world go by on a lazy Sunday...
Inspired to be a statue after watching "Night At The Museum."
All the fourth graders at Xander's school went on a big field trip to San Juan Island, to study whales. I wasn't there, but the chaperones shared some photos on Facebook as the day went on. Here they are on the ferry ride over.
At Lime Kiln Point State Park.
On the ferry ride home.
The rest of these are shots Xander took with an old camera I game him. He's got a great eye!
