Clare invited her classmate (and teammate) Kiarra to join her as a "ball girl"
at a WWU women's basketball game.
Minecraft playdate with Klay and Mac.
They were down five players for the final tournament of the winter season,
but these boys came to play and ended up battling in a close game to come in second.
Michael got to keep the book for the first game (apparently you need no prior experience to be called upon.)
Father and sub.

Clare has become a pro at watching and waiting for just the right moment to run down the side of the court during a game to get back to her seat after a bathroom break.
Getting advice from Coach Mike.

X and Coach Tim.
Xander typically gets pretty emotional at the end of any sports season. No different this time. Coach Mike saw that he was tearing up and stopped to give him some really fantastic, encouraging words about the season they spent together.

Taken by Xander on our way back to town after the tournament.
Someone got a new hat.
Doing research for her very first science fair project.
Hanging with the neighbors.

Watching a big rain storm.
Clare went upstairs and came down wearing her shirts as pants and her pants as a shirt.
I told Xander I thought they were probably too small.
The kids and I have been writing a Family Friday Journal back and forth all school year.
It's going to be such a fun time capsule of 5th and 2nd grades.
Third annual West Coast Meatloaf Bake-Off time!

Patrice flew in from Portland to join us this year.

Xander and I had a just-us movie date to go see "Zootopia."
Silver Beach Elementary Sience Fair 2016!

Clare has started taking a Ninja Zone class on Wednesdays.
Ready to go. Hi-ya!
