Ready to head down to Tacoma for his last tournament before Las Vegas next month!
We stopped in Kent to pick up a teammate (whose brother had a game at the same time in a different place).
Saying hi to Reggie, D-Block's head honcho.

These Seattle games are tough, but the boys are learning a lot and getting even better after facing such huge challenges on the court.
And then: Baseball! Xander didn't try out for the summer state baseball team this year, because he's focused more on basketball. But one of the D-Block dads pulled together most of the basketball team for a rec baseball team, and they're playing just for fun.
Clare's 2nd great music concert was so fun, but I didn't get any good photos. You'll have to just trust me that it was cute and great!
The entire 5th grade class at Silver Beach has an annual picnic at Bloedel-Donovan Park, with games and food and silliness. It was so fun to watch them all have fun!
This race had something to do with pretending to put on deodorant, and then passing off the stick in a relay.
This one involved shaving cream and cheese puffs.
Xander's class won the Class Wars, and got to run and break through their "Welcome To Middle School" banner before the other two classes.
They also won Skittles.
These three teachers are the best. Mr. Perigo won the donut-eating contest.

...basketball practice. :)
Haircut!

Family hike!

Helping Michael install a new light fixture in the kids' bathroom.
X had his buddy Jay over for a couple hours on Sunday.
Michael wants us to all go camping for Father's Day, so we got out the tent and gave it a test run in the back yard.
Bringing me a fresh strawberry from the garden. Yum!
The Wii just never gets old...
The Mariners had their first game on Monday.
Rocking first base.
Batting tips from Arlie.
Warming up the infield.

Mariners win, 15-5!

Sometimes I worry about how much Xander and Clare bicker. But then I see this (on Xander's Instagram), and realize that everything's going to be just fine.
Clare and I went for a little neighborhood walk last night.
