| Woke up early because it was finally the big day. Built a Minecraft Clare to pass the time (and then took it apart and re-built it while making this stop-motion animation of it with her birthday gift from Michael and me): |
| Waiting impatiently for her first guest to arrive. |
| Max pulled up with his mom, followed a few minutes later by Klayton, who rode over on his bike. |
| Fun games in the cul-de-sac while Michael went for pizza. |
| Pizza time! |
| Movie time! (Clare chose the Shaun The Sheep Movie.) |
| Listening to everyone sing "Happy Birthday." |
| Photobombed by the best. |
| Why yes, Clare did choose a poop emoji pinata for her birthday. The 9-year-old heart wants what the 9-year-old heart wants. |
| Taking turns pulling the strings to see which one will open it up... |
| Naturally, I stuffed it with Tootsie Rolls. |
