Please ignore the fence that I couldn't quite obscure in this photo.

Clare loves playing catcher. Anytime Chris asked for a volunteer to catch, she jumped at the chance.

Post-game dragon race -- waiting for their turn to run.

Josh was back for a few days!

I love the friendship between these two.

And our old neighbor Bryson has been around lots, because his parents are fixing up their rental in our cul-de-sac and selling it.

Xander's been doing some extra basketball training at the Barnasium with several of his teammates.

As we were walking in to Clare's baseball game last Monday, X spotted his buddy Caiden watching some of their middle school friends play. We didn't see much of X after that...

Watching the end of Clare's game.

We, the Rosellis, and the Winters all headed to MOD Pizza for some post-game dinner and lots of laughs.

Bryson and his parents happened to walk in and Bryson literally ran to Xander and jumped into his arms with glee.

The sponsor for Xander's rec team this summer is a furniture company. The owner brought a couch to the game so we could get a team photo -- such a fun idea. Clare and Cailyn got to watch the game in true comfort.

Michael was living on the edge during Clare's game on Wednesday night.

Our view every night last week...not bad...

Xander got to join Lexi as an assistant coach for much of Clare's summer baseball season.

Spotted the camera. Does not always appreciate me documenting her childhood days... :)

We had so much fun this season, cheering on our kids with some of our oldest and dearest Bellingham friends.

Chris gives the kids a fantastic end-of-season speech.

We moms went out to dinner, while the dads and kids headed to the Roselli's for the night.

Another day, another baseball game...

The D-BLOCK sixth graders had an end-of-season pool party at Josh's place.

The coaches gave each boy an award and spoke about their strengths during the season.

Clare and Carson tried out the sauna -- lasted about one whole minute in the heat.

Proud of this kid, always.

My grad school friend Romy came through town with her boyfriend Saad, so we showed them around Fairhaven for a bit before they had to continue on their trip...

Xander and Dirty Dan Harris.
Introducing Xander to Friday Night Lights...
...while Michael and Clare set up camp at Birch Bay State Park.

X had a fantastic pitching game tonight. Seven strikeouts.

Resting on second base, while waiting for a new pitcher to warm up.

End of another fun summer season.
