Anya joined us for a WWU volleyball match in the brand new Carver Gym. Fun night!
X caught this signed mini volleyball from one of the players during announcement of the team and starters.

The band was a bit too loud for the girls.

An entrepreneur at heart.

Someday soon, this will no longer be a play room and I'll be sad for the days when we still had toys in the house.

X and some of his teammates are working throughout October on extra training with Kyle and the barnasium.

Still tidy -- always tidy.

Clare re-organized her bookshelf last weekend.

X chose The Filling Station for his early family birthday dinner destination last Sunday. (Tuesday was full up with school and basketball practice.)

Cathi baked Xander FOUR DOZEN of her delicious chocolate chip cookies as an early birthday present.

Bright and early on his birthday morning: Officially a teenager!

His gift from Clare. He was really surprised and forced her to hug him after opening it. :)

This is 13!

D-BLOCK practice on the night of X's birthday.

Post-practice team photo before X passed out Cathi's cookies to everyone.
The carpool crew + a couple other teammates stopped at LaFeen's for birthday donuts.

Happy kid.

X asked me to come up at bedtime and spend 30 minutes reminiscing about all his past birthdays.

Clare and I decorated the front porch for Halloween.

Her favorite addition this year is the zombie climbing up to the roof.

Clare's after-school running club a few weeks ago (photo shared by the director on Facebook).

Another fun Trail Blazers afternoon.
