Clare and her cul-de-sac crew cleaned out the far corner of our yard, behind the boulder, and made a secret fort. Naturally, we needed to go find some furniture for it.

Clare, Braden and Landen call their secret society "the party poopers" and don't let the other (littler) neighborhood kids play in their space (except when I put on my Mean Mom hat and make them).

The crown is still too big for Clare...one day, child...one day...

Heading down to the Fairhaven Festival on Ski-To-Sea Sunday with the Winters.

Finding a bit of shade.

Reading over Mark Twain's shoulder (just a couple days after the installed this new statue in front of Village Books).

Wearing his Celtics-autographed hat, ready to watch his team play against the Cavs.

Shooting hoops with Caiden and Karson.

Forever re-organizing his room.

Always so tidy!

Clare's last volleyball game of the season before the tournament: the Purple Panthers remained undefeated!

One of Clare's last Trailblazers outings.

Warming up before the all-schools cross country meet.

He roared up and overtook this guy right at the finish line, in the top third of the (very large) pack.

Proud of this kids for trying a new sport and sticking with it.

The Purple Panthers won the season-ending tournament!

Will still cuddle with me sometimes...

A couple more Trailblazer photos...these from their last session of the school year.

Purple Panthers ice cream party!

Coach Sara gave all the girls awesome, hard-earned medals for a spectacular season.

I took a bunch of photos of the 4th grade picnic/field day...

Always a fun way to wrap up the year!

Last day of 4th grade.

Last day of 7th grade.

Hauling home all her stuff. Officially summertime!!

Father's Day weekend meant the kids went on a 13-mile bike ride down to the bay with Michael. Actually, Michael and Clare did this same trail last weekend, but Xander got to join in this time.

Man bun! (Ugh.)

Celebrating Michael with breakfast at the Fork.

This is her looking cool look.

Ten isn't too young to start driving, is it?

We then walked the North Lake Whatcom Trail. Michael went up to Drayton Harbor Oyster Company with his friend Michael for lunch, and then they picked up X and took him to the Bells game.

A full, happy Father's Day for a most-deserving dad.
