Xander's first day of kindergarten

Just before heading up to the bus stop.


Michael came home to see Xander off, and I headed to the school
to wait for his arrival.


Clare kept yelling: "Bye, Mama! Bye, Mama!" Xander was concentrating
on not being nervous.


Finally getting off the bus at school. The normally 20-minute trip
ended up taking 55 minutes, due to a miscommunication about
one of the morning kindergarteners drop-off location. Xander was
really stressed about it, but so happy to see Kiri when he arrived.


"Hi Kiri!"




Looking for his nametag and trying really hard not to cry.


Still trying not to cry. He did great, even though he didn't want me to leave.

I'm not sure he's sold on the bus just yet,
but he said he liked kindergarten a lot.
