We've got a loose tooth situation over here

Xander just might lose his first baby tooth in time for
his first day of kindergarten on Thursday!

This was taken yesterday, when it was really wiggly.
It's been noticeably loose for a couple weeks now.

Xander can't stop fussing with it, understandably.
It's all very exciting.

Today it's hanging on by a thread.

What does the Tooth Fairy pay out these days??

Update: At 7 o'clock, just as Xander was finishing up an ice pop
before bed, the tooth fell out. "It's out," he said, and we weren't even sure
what he was talking about at first. He put the tooth in the special
tooth fairy pillow we got this week, and left it on top of his toy box
for the tooth fairy to find. She didn't plan ahead well enough, so instead

of a dollar coin, he's getting four quarters. He's already said he wants to buy
a bagel
if the tooth fairy leaves him enough coins to do so.
Dreaming big, this one.

Some of those pics are almost too graphic for me. Wiggly teeth, eww. I do believe the tooth fairy gives a dollar a tooth!!

Our tooth fairy leaves a two dollar bill for the first few lost teeth. Then she gets a little lazy and leaves a dollar.
