Another amazing Mariners experience for Xander (& Mike!)

Walking into his last game of the season.
He has no idea what a fun night he's in for...

Got to sit on King Felix's throne.

And then he was suddenly inside the clubhouse!
While getting shakes, a Mariners person approached Michael and Xander
and asked if they'd be interested in playing Triple Play Trivia on the field
before the game.

They got guest passes and hung out inside for a bit
(Xander was especially excited to sit where Ichiro sat [above]
when he announced that he was leaving the Mariners.)

And then they waited on the field for about 30 minutes
before their big moment.

Standing on the other side of the net.

Pretending to catch a ball.

Peeking into the Angels' dugout. Xander saw lots of players
he knows. Was very excited about Albert Pujols. When he saw Mike Trout,
Xander said, very quietly under his breath, "Hey, Trout,"
and Trout heard him and looked over.

This is after the big moment, where Michael and Xander had to answer
three trivia questions within 90 seconds, running the bases and making it
to home plate before time ran out. They made it at the very last second!

They each got to choose a Mariners jersey (Felix for both of them, of course)!

An usher also upgraded them to seats (way) behind home plate.

And then? I mean, what else could a young baseball
fan expect?? While watching Stephen Pryor throw in the bullpen,
Pryor asked X if he thought he could catch a ball if he threw one over.
(Michael ended up catching it!)
What an unbelievable season (though not for the Ms, unfortunately):
Luxury box seats with the neighbors; Felix's perfect game, watched
from the King's Court; and then last night's Triple Play Trivia fun.
Not to mention about a dozen fun games he got to enjoy with Daddy, Mommy and Clare,
and Grandpa Charlie. Here's to next season!
