Hot chocolate when it's 80 degrees out??
Sure! Why not?

Looking at a map of the Chuckanut mountains
and one of the trails they recently hiked.
We took a Sunday morning stroll along the water and into Fairhaven.
Wonder how many times I'll take this same picture of
them on the boardwalk over the next few years?
We tried out the new Rocket Donuts location.
Definitely a hit.
She also asked me to take her picture with the
Dirty Dan Harris statue.
Clare was just a bit excited to watch a train pass by
on our return stroll back to Boulevard Park.
Clare's new best friend here in Bellingham is
Emerson, who she met at preschool this spring.
She was so excited to have him over for a play date.

Cheering on Felix while he pitched in the All Star Game.
The Rosellis joined us for the big game -- and brought
delicious strawberry shortcake!
These kids like each other. A lot.
Can you tell?
Xander insisted on his big equipment bag -- jam-packed
with every baseball thing he owns -- for opening day of
Bellingham Bells baseball camp.

A gaggle of his Happy Valley classmates and spring baseball
teammates yelled out with excitement when he arrived.

Listening to Coach explain the day's drills and practice stations.

Clare insisted on wearing her (only) baseball shirt to camp drop-off. :)
