Modern tween: Instagramming his haircut.
Clare had a great game, making two impressively deep shots!

And then we headed straight to Seattle.

Hanging with Henry before X's basketball game.

Lifelong friends in their respective sports jerseys.

X may have been a smidge outmatched by this kid.

We stopped at the Lego store after the tournament, so Clare could spend some of her allowance that she's been saving up.

Also stopped at Xander's new favorite restaurant: MOD Pizza.

Another day, another visit to MOD (this time, the brand new one in our neighborhood).

Clare rarely poses for photos for me anymore. This was a purposeful face, the closest I could get to a smile. :)

Xander happily joining me for Clare's last basketball practice of the season, since it meant extra shooting time for him before his next basketball tournament.

Clare, Kiarra, and Presley did a little post-practice rock-climbing.

Another weekend, another Seattle basketball tournament.

Clare's teacher sends us photos from school whenever something fun is going on. Last week, the kids learned all about ways our Salish pioneers lived and the tools they fashioned and used to settle into our area.

Clare finally pulled out the archaeology dinosaur bones kit Grammy Eve gave her last summer.

HUGE hit! She now wants to other kits that are available.

Clare picked up the first Harry Potter book last weekend and finished it in less than two days.

Someone's getting too tall for the loveseat.
