Clare's school sent me this photo, which they shot to use in a video she was taking part in about things that make you happy.

These two cuties.

Clare re-created her Lake Whatcom wakeboarding adventure in LEGO.

She's also changed the play room into her stop-motion animation studio.

Only a couple more out-of-town tournaments to get ready for Orlando next month.

I think Nick spotted my camera.

Michael went through our library and created a summer reading list for Xander.

Xander and his classmates performing their Greek Readers' Theatre.

Xander's D-BLOCK team gathered at a teammates house for the NBA Finals game on Monday.

Meanwhile, Clare had her own adventures. Our neighbor posted this photo to Facebook right about the time we started wondering where she'd gone off to. :)

Clare's entire third grade class had a picnic and Color Wars at Lake Whatcom.

With her buddies Jasper and Lucy.

They played so many fun games!

Michael introduced Clare to Mr. Bill and of course she loved it.

Clare came home this week with this amazing pile of postcards, drawing and gifts from around the world, thanks to her "Flat Clare" project at school. She went from New Zealand to Japan, Ireland to the UK -- even Spain!

Last day of school!

Xander and a bunch of his friends had plans to stay after school on the last day and shoot hoops. A couple D-BLOCK moms stopped by to give them Gatorades and pizza. Clare and I swung over to give him sunscreen. We were too late. ;) I found him on this roof at the back of the school -- not shooting hoops.

They quickly got down and returned to the court.

Clare's only desire to celebrate the last day of school was a gigantic Slurpee. Mission accomplished.

Showing me the chalk art he did in class.

Clare had her first ever baseball practice! Our friend Chris is the coach and she did so great. For having never played, she's got some great skills. Can you get that just from watching your big brother play a zillion times?

Tony and Xander played catch to a captive audience who was waiting to have their team photo taken.

Clare, Alyssa and Anya -- who would have thought, nearly 20 years ago, that our girls would all play baseball together one day! It's going to be a fun summer season...

Why yes, it is a poop emoji piggy bank, thanks to Grammy Eve. Clare loves it!
